A very important thing to do in your quest to become a blogger of highly ranked, traffic jammed blogs is to both constantly analyze how well your own blog is doing in terms of its Google PankRank, Alexa Rank & other important measurements as well as to analyze the competition. You do the latter to find the top ranking competitive blogs in your niche in order to leave comments on their blogs and/or network with them to help you with your blog.
An absolute must have plug-in that, at this stage, only works with Firefox, that will completely streamline this analysis process is called SEO Quake. SEO Quake works on the fly so that every time you visit a new site/blog, it comes up with a tool bar that allows you to quickly access such information as the sites/blogs’ Google PR, Google Index number, Yahoo Index number, Alexa rank, age of the site/blog and also conduct searches like WhoIs, Source, number of internal and external links etc.
